May Lawrence is an Australian-born photographer who transitioned from a successful career as a regional director to pursue her passion for culinary arts and photography. After completing a professional patisserie chef diploma at Le Cordon Bleu, she began her journey as a freelance food photographer. She currently resides in Asia, where she balances her professional food work with a growing interest in street photography. May views photography as a powerful medium to document the diverse cultures, histories, and stories she encounters during her global culinary travels.

She uses a Canon 6D body paired with a versatile collection of lenses, including a Canon 100mm macro, several Sigma prime lenses, and a Canon tilt-shift lens. Her kit is rounded out by Phottix studio lighting, a Canon Speedlight, and Manfrotto tripods.
