Laria Saunders is an award-winning, self-taught photographer who hails from a family of artists. Due to chronic illness, she has transitioned her creative focus from traditional photography to the unique practice of collaging photos into paintings.

She utilizes Nikon D600 and D800 bodies paired with a variety of lenses including a 35mm f/1.4 and a Zeiss 100mm f/2. Her setup also features Elinchrom strobes and a Gitzo tripod with a Manfrotto geared head.

Laria has been recognized as one of the Light & Composition Top 100 Photographers. She has also earned multiple 1st and 2nd place titles in Photo of the Month competitions and received 14 Photo of the Day awards.
