Don Peterson

Don Peterson began his photographic journey as a teenager with a Rolleiflex camera, later documenting his time in the Air Force. After a long career as an industrial mechanic, he retired in 2001 to pursue his passion for photography full-time at the College of DuPage and Columbia College Chicago.

Following his graduation in 2007, Peterson embraced a nomadic lifestyle, traveling across the country in a motor home with his dog. He continues to document his experiences and travels through his photography, sharing his ongoing journey on his personal blog.

He uses Nikon D90 and D70 camera bodies. His lens kit includes the Nikkor 18-105mm AF-S f/3.5-5.6 and the Nikkor 70-200mm AF-S VR f/2.8.
